We at SDEWES Conference take great pride in the scientific excellence of our invited lecturers and authors of papers included in Special and other Conferences sessions, but there is another program that truly makes this Conference complete, and this is our Special Social program.

From 4^th – 8^th October, you will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the company of top experts in the field of sustainable development from all around the world and, through our social program, exchange ideas in a more informal way, while enjoying the beautiful sites and history of Dubrovnik.

4^th October (Wednesday) – 18:30 – 20:00 h Welcome reception

Join us for welcome drinks where we will formally start the Conference. The reception will be held at 18:30 h at the Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik hotel's wine bar terrace with panoramic views of the Elaphiti Islands. Valamar Lacroma hotel is the proud recipient of the prestigious World Travel Award as "Croatia's Leading Business Hotel" and is also the venue of the Conference.

We have a very special day planned for our conference participants on Saturday, 7^th. After the conference sessions, organized bus transportation will take us to the city centre from Valamar Lacroma hotel. We will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik and a stunning panoramic view of the Old City of Dubrovnik, the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, and numerous islands.

Conference dinner will be held at the most beautiful beach in Dubrovnik with a view of the Old City. We will enjoy a delicious SDEWES style buffet dinner accompanied with relaxing sounds of the sea and music. Beach club dance floor will be well prepared for all partygoers and for others, bus transportation to Valamar Lacroma will be organized.

Social programme is free for registered participants (sitting dinner area is additionally charged), so submit your final papers, complete your registration and come to Dubrovnik!
